PitDrip is run by [Company name] ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the PitDrip app and website, why, who we share it with, and your rights.
What we collect
- Account details: your email, username, display name, photo and bio, and how you signed in (Apple, Google or email).
- Date of birth: we ask once, to enforce our minimum age of 13 and to set teen protections. We store the date and show only an age band, never an exact age.
- What you post: photos, videos, captions, tags, comments, likes, saves, boards and the shows you follow or are going to.
- Location, if you allow it: to sort shows by how close they are. You can turn it off in your phone's settings.
- Usage and device data: the screens you use, taps, crashes, app version, device model and operating system.
- Purchase status: whether you have PitDrip Pro, through Apple or Google. We don't see your card details.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To run your account and show you the app: performing our contract with you.
- To keep PitDrip safe, including checking photos and videos before they go public: our legitimate interest and legal duties.
- To improve the app and fix bugs: our legitimate interest.
- To send reminders for your shows and notifications you switch on: your consent, which you can withdraw.
- To show ads and measure campaigns on our website: your consent, only after you accept cookies.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run PitDrip. Each only gets the data it needs.
- Supabase (database, sign-in, storage and server functions)
- Cloudflare (image and video delivery)
- Anthropic (AI features such as the stylist and photo tagging; you choose when to use them)
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google (subscriptions and purchases)
- PostHog (usage analytics) and Sentry (crash reports)
- Ticketmaster (tour and show data; ticket links take you to their site)
- Advertising partners, on our website, only after you consent
We don't sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some providers are outside the UK and EU. Where that happens we use approved safeguards. [Confirm the mechanism for each provider before launch.]
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. If you delete your account, your posts, comments, likes and boards are removed straight away and the data is fully erased within 30 days, except what we must keep by law. [Confirm retention periods for logs, reports and moderation records.]
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, and to object to some uses. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). Use the form on the data requests page or email privacy@pitdrip.app. We reply within one month.
Children and teens
PitDrip is not for children under 13, and we don't create accounts for them. Accounts for 13 to 17 year olds are private by default, comments on their posts are limited to approved followers, adults can't message them, and their posts are never used for age-based filtering or shown on public web pages.
